Join the Band

While there are no auditions or dues required for membership, the band does have requirements and expectations for those seeking to join the band.  The band plays music at a level of grade three to six (junior high level through college and professional level music).  Because of the extended summer season, the band has a yearly music repertoire of from 100 to 200 different pieces of music.  The expectation is that members come to rehearsal prepared to play and learn their music outside rehearsals.  High school wind and percussion are welcomed with recommendations from their school band director and meeting with the conductors and section leaders.
