Spring 2019 Concert – Overture to Candide

Light and Lively, Medina Community Band will feature selections from Bernstein’s “Overture to Candide,” Chaminade’s “Concertino, Op 107 for Flute” (Sadie Nayman, soloist), Rachmaninoff’s “Italian Polka,” Saint-Saëns’“Tarantella,” (Amy Muhl, flute and Mary Ann Grof-Neiman, clarinet, soloists), von Suppé’s overture to “Tantalusqualen,” Gottschalk’s “Pasquinade,” and, Bernstein’s “Four Dances from ‘West Side Story.’
