Celebrating 150 Years of Making Music

1859 through 2010

Medina Community Band was honored to have been the subject of a featured Armstrong Cable Television feature in 2010 celebrating the 150th year of making music for our community. Andrew Knode produced and narrated the production that featured audience members, band members, and Maestro Neiman.

Andy Knode was the Local Programming Producer for Armstrong in Medina and Orrville Ohio for 10 years. winning multiple awards for his work included a Telly, Ohio Cable Telecommunications Awards, and the Coveted Jim Cook Award. He is now the Video Content Producer for Realeflow a Real Estate Investment Software Company in Cleveland. When not producing video he is also a local actor most notably appearing in the Ohio Lotto Commercial “10 second Heist Movie” and performing with the Oberlin Summer Theater Festival, for the last several years seasons. Andy enjoyed his opportunity to document the Media Community Band on their 150th year early on in his career at Armstrong.
